Carleen:
Not yet on the mulch - want to keep a close eye on how the soil is doing but
as we warm up and get less rain, I will. I have some compost that's been
too soggy to use, but w/ incorporate as the beds sink a little (they're new).
I've
heard that one should never plant roses in new beds but I'm trying it anyway
and planted them on the high side knowing they'd sink a bit.
Interesting that "eskimo" is a domain like "aol" - I'm in kindergarten on
computer
stuff but what a way to communicate!
