The English rose Graham Thomas is a
wonderful deep, creamy yellow. This rose
can get very big, some say huge. There is
also Happy Child that is a bright light yellow,
(but I like Graham Thomas better). How
about Abraham Darby for a delightful apricot
touched with gold and very fragrant. I realize
these are all English. I love old roses but
don't have that much experience with them
yet. How about some white ones ?
Mme.Hardy (an old Damask), beautiful and
fragrant, she is a once bloomer with a cute
green eye.
Good luck with picking one.
I have had thoughts of "extending" my new
rose garden that I have just planted 62 roses
in. How much do the sheep need anyhow !
(we have 21 acres with 12 in feilds)
I think us rose lovers are really just collectors
that love fragrance, beauty for our labor, and
quiet places to sit and say awe...
(seduced indeed)
