Does anyone know of a method to discourage/destroy ants w/o using chemicals? I've tried borax with limited to no success. I'm unable to get up close and personal with one rose bed because these little fellows make life unpleasant crawling around in my slacks - I've heard they nurture aphid larva - is there any benefit to the rose bed to leave the ants there? Will they come back if I discourage or kill them? Joanie
