I have several rose bushes which I use for cut flowers. It is great
having them around the house all summer long! I even bring one to work
regularly.
This year, they seem to be behaving strange though. If I get a well
developed bud, instead of opening up and then wilting, it just kind of
goes limp as a bud. In past years, I could keep them around for a week
or more (even two weeks sometimes). This year, within a couple of days,
every one of them is hanging limp in the vase. And again, they don't
even open up.
Could this be from a lack of something in the soil? Cutting them wrong?
...? I'm at a loss.
