Joanie--I grew Golden Showers in zone 6 close to Lake St. Clair, the
Detroit River, and Lake Erie.  Yes, it is humid here.  Every morning
there is a mist and the air is very polluted.  But Golden Showers,didn't
seem to mind.  It has dark red stamens, by the way, and looks a lot like
a double version of Golden Wings as far as the full blown blossoms go.
