carleen asks:
>That was a rough year for ya, Elle. Retire early then?
I did, although I'm 56 and had 31 years with the company every one loves
to hate so I got full retirement.
It's taking a long time for me to get back to normal, be able to work in
the yard all day without being in vast amounts of pain and not whine
about it.

Thanks..I have a feeling this baby will be moving in a year or so..one
thing about not knowing what you are planting, is not planting correctly.
Reading up on Blanc de Coubert, I see she tends to spread..cant wait for
summer!

thanks for this bit of historical info. I *will* read that book..soon
as the laundry is done, the house is picked up and the dishes put away
how did I have time to work?????
>Wow... 6 ferrets, now that's a house full. Do they stay inside all
>the time?
They garden with me on nice days, on leashes.
3 of them are recent rescues and were kept in a chicken coup..a friend in
Centrailia called me and I went up and talked to the owner..seems he had
gotten tired of being bitten by the baby so he just put them all outside
for the winter.
So the 3 wild bunch love to be in the grass..they eat slugs and bugs!
This has encouraged me to NOT bait for slugs this year, I just take the
ferrets out early in the morning and let them chow down.
