Re: [Rose-list] Re: June 6 HOAG trip

Hello, and yep, I can make you all some lovely strong coffee. I grind my
own beans to get just the right coffee flavor. Cookies okay too.
I live in the hot Sacramento valley in Live Oak. On the foothills of the
Sutter Buttes, North side. We grow almonds and prunes and rattlesnakes and
mosquitoes but we love it. I am in the process, several years now, of
designing and planting a raised bed garden on my sandy, rocky soil. About
half done now and it looks pretty snazzy if I do say so. My roses are
stunning this year I'm sure because of our weather. Except for yesterday.
Too weird ! Winds of about 25o and temp. 90 something. Miserable. Trees
all curled up and dried. Lots of irrigation today.
Anyway, I envy you your trip to the rose gardens. Have a good time.
