We have a Climbing Don Juan in the US and it is
beautiful -- but be warned -- in my Pacific Northwest
climate (probably similar to your's in the UK) it is
unparelled for RUST. I still grow it -- strip it every
year after first bloom to the stems. It springs back
and blooms all summer, beautiful black-red hybrid
tea shaped flowers -- not much fragrance though.
Don't know if we're discussing the same rose or
not.

For mine is just a little old-fashioned garden where
the flowers come together to praise the Lord and
teach all who look upon them to do likewise.

I live in the UK and would like to know if the rose
Colonel Don Juan is
available in the UK?
If so does it go by a different name?
