The things I've found people most interested in at the talks I've done
are:

Types of roses that do well in your area
Specific cultivars of each type
When to prune
Where to prune
When to feed
What to feed
Where to buy
What to mulch with

Most of this can be given in a hand out so that you can elaborate on
your themes in the talk.  And don't plan on leaving immediately - most
people will also want to tell you about the old roses they grow!
