'Foresgate' is about 2/3rds translucent brilliant deep yellow, an
incredibly beautiful plant. Sort of luminous. 'Lilian True' is mostly an
unbanded solid black-green, overlaid with golden-mustard striping and
borders. some leaves may be almost entirely overlaid with yellow. it is
opaque.
'Black Gold' looks a lot like 'Otis True', which is a solid black-green
slection off of non-variegated 'Lilian True'. 'Lilian True ' sported off
Trifasciata laurentii, this is known to me on actual sight. I would assume
the same for 'Foresgate' but i do not know.
I selected the most strongly variegated 'Lilian True' plants from the
original plant i got from Lilian. some are smashing! 'Foresgate' just
keeps cranking beautiful plants.
a potful of each side by side would blow your windows out!
