Hello Lone,
Needless to say I am not at all qualified to answer these
questions, as I do not know the answer. I can only share with you what I
have learned in growing 'Forescate' for only less than a year.
The original plant is 28" tall and has produced one
side
pup, two leaves and 22" in height. During the first 10" of life, the pup
did
not show it true color but just the darken leaves edge. Now this pup is
standing proudly by it mother's side and yes, you guess it , what is a
beautiful sight. Since the plant is growing outdoor, I can only think
that mutual and natual light influenced the growth.
Do you grow yours indoor or outdoor? If growing indoor,
do you provide it the growing light? If so, what is the Lux? ( I think,
To convert lux to footcandle, the unit of illumination more common in
the u.s., multiply by 0.4. one lux = 1lumen/square meter. one footcandle
= 1 lumen/square foot. But I must confess, I am taking my best guess at
this.)
There are many others on this list that are 100
percent better qualified to answer your questions. Oh, how I envy
their extensive knowledge and wish to be able to learn so much more.
' Forescate' is indeed among the most beautiful in San's world. Good
growing to you and yours.
