Could your "Sansevieria transvaalensis" be more like Sans.aethiopica? That
is a narrow leafed species that is widespread in the former Transvaal. (Its
not from Ethiopia, as the species epithet would suggest.)
I am curious as to the source where you got it. Bob Smoley offers a
"Sansevieria transvaalensis".

I'm not good at describing plants but the two I have are not alike. The
transvaalensis has very stiff, hard leaves with a bluish cast and red edge.
Parva has thickened leaves that are similar in shape but pliable, not hard,
no red edge and have a rolled point on the end. They do have a lot in
common in growth patterns, though.
