I have no ulterior motive, i have that plant. and as far as i know, all you
need is a phytosanitary certificate. i have no idea what they cost in AZ,
but all you need to do is get your plants clean, and call your department
of agriculture, and ask the recipients of the plants to belly up to the bar
for the cost of the phyto, as well as the shipping, which is only fair.
plants from AZ are grown commercially and shipped into CA, for example, all
the time, and when we drive truckloads of plants to, say, the Zoo in
Phoenix...check out our bamboo! nobody even stops us to look at our
documentation! we wave it in their faces, and they say, yeah, yeah, good
bye, have a nice trip!
