[SANS] Sansevieria "Alva"

I wonder if anyone has ever figured out just which
plant S. 'Alva' is. Ed Eby found this plant as an
escaped exotic in Koko Crater, Oahu, and called it
after his wife.

Ed's son, Lee, is now in the plant business in
California. He  told me that he had been pestering
his dad for an 'Alva', but Ed keeps saying that he
"can't find one." Well, now Lee has a plant from me
--I brought it to our Fresno club's Holiday silent
auction and Lee was the high bidder! (And the first
thing he will do is chop it up into 3 plants for
propagation.)
