There were also good descriptions of it in Dave Grigsby's catalog.  It gets
bigger in cultivation that i thought when I wrote the book, and in a raised
bed in the greenhouse, it crowded out less vigorous plants.  the
underground system is like plumbing. fat horizontal potato-like roots and
stems. It looks best grown in less light than it gets in habitat. ah, but
do we not all?

PS...many people have subbed to this most precious list and have not yet
introduced themselves; nor have they described their Sansevieria
experiences. this saddens us.
