Sansevieria 'Mason Congo' and Sans. hyacinthoides

I had posted these comment back in October in connections with the
identification of photos seen on the On-line Sansevieria Club. I suppose
nobody reads to the bottom of long postings. Comments any one?

Sansevieria guineensis (L.) Willdenow and S.thyrsiflora Thunberg are
synonyms of S.hyacinthoides (l.) Druce.

I have seen a plant with pale green leaves without maculation but with
faint lengthwise striations mislabled as S.hyacinthoides in Mary Chiles
collection. (She was not the one who named it.) It may actually be
S.conspicua N.E. Br. but it has not flowered yet.

Frans Noltee lists 'Mason Congo' as a cultivar of Sansevieria hyacinthoides
(his no.03299) in his catalog. I have not seen it in flower myself but I
bet he's right. It is sometimes labled as S.grandis J.D. Hooker and that
too is now considered synonymous with S.hyacinthoides.
