I have a plant labelled metallica from a botanical gardens in Hungary, but
i do not think this means that it IS that plant, as they take the word of
the person from whom the plant was obtained. i had sent them some Hoyas
many years ago, and keep them up to date with the latest names those plants
have...other than this...they would still be listed under the first names,
many times changed since then. This is not a criticism.

Hmmmm (thoughtfully) I got it (javanica) from that fellow in India whose
name should pop into my head while i am typing.....ASHISH HANSOTI! so now
I can look up its birthplace. it does not look like the 'javanica' of trade.
