New Sansevieria forum

I've been thinking a starting a companion forum in Onelist for some time now. The way their forums are set up, they are much easier to use and have more options. Besides having the usual archives, they also provide a files directory for posting pictures and articles, a directory for links, a directory for surveys and a listing of subscribers. The wider array of options would greatly enhance what and how we can communicate.

I have no intention of shutting down the other forum. The information it includes is valuable, both the good and the bad. I could eventually collate the best parts and include them in the new forum. The archives for the Onelist forum are just as easy to navigate as the Mallorn archives. The major difference is the archives are set up by the day and not by topic.

I would be lying if I said the recent flaming by Hermine and Juan didn't play a part in my decision but all they did is give me the incentive to finally get the new forum started. It will be much easier to monitor
potential flamers in the new forum. The problems in the other forum were caused by a very small number of people.

Lets hope that everyone will be more active in the new forum and not feel intimidated.

We have just moved up to a higher level.

The adventure continues.
