Thanks John for the advice about the goodies that chickens leave us. We use
pelletized sheep droppings (sheep being a fairly common commodity in New
Zealand).

Today is the beginning of the 50th Annual General meeting and Convention of
the New Zealand Cactus and Succulent Society. It is 7 am and I am gearing
up for a big day of helping welcome guests and meeting old friends. Someone
is bringing us some more Sansevierias to add to our collection. My computer
is going to the convention too, so I can show people this list (along with
others) and other wonders of the net, so I will be off line until Sunday
night. It has dawned a beautiful day, and will get up to 22 C, so should be
quite pleasant.
