I had no idea so many Sans. had this coloration. Sure makes for an
interesting plant. Are there any that carry this color up into the leaves?
The only colors I've seen in leaves besides green are white, yellow and red
(red on the edges only, and the leaf tips) The leaves growing out of these
dark purple sheaths are a light/medium green. And actually the smaller
sheaths lower on the runners are almost a magenta (more reddish) color with
the sheath holding the new leaves a very deep purple.
