My mother has had a Sans. Hahnii plant for years and
years, and it amazes me how tough this thing is. My
mother is currently living in a care facility while
she recovers from a stroke she suffered in mid-June.
That Hahnii sits behind a curtain in a cold house,
unwatered for months, and it still looks healthy and
green. (I live 650 miles away, and only get up there
every couple of months.)
Amazes me because I have killed numerous Hahniis over
the years. This fall, I took my survivors from a summer
on the patio and brought them into the house. They
have been transplanted into a very light mix and put
under fluorescent lights. They're watered from the
bottom. So far, they're okay; dry out fast; but most
are putting up pups.
We'll see what happens.
