[SANS] Browning tips

when checking on our (admittedly small) collection of Sansevierias the
other day I noticed that some were getting dry, brown tips on the leaves.
Is this normal? I trimmed the dry bits off - was this a good thing to do?
any advice greatfully received.

You will all be delighted to know that we have had two days of STILL
weather - and maybe the 60km an hour winds of the last three months have
deserted us. The consequence of these winds is that we have all gone mad.
Such is life with El Nino.
