Hello Thomas,
The simple answer to your question is that some of the broad leaved
Sansevierias just arch over, and some don't. Even on the same plant
you might find the younger outer leaves just arch or flop over. The
worst one for me that does this is S. trif. 'Slimmerette' . All you
can do is put canes into the pots and tie garden twine about 3/4 of
the way up the canes, or live with it.
It also depends which Sansevieria we are talking about as a few do
arch naturally.
