Citing collection numbers

Dear Norma,

the numbers in themselves are meaningless unless one also cites their
origin, collector and where the plant was collected together with the
collectors comments.

Please check my listing of ISI plants in this forum in December. You will
find ISI 96-57 = HBG 54991 = Lavranos 23154, which is Sansevieria rorida
(Lanza) N.E. Brown collected near Mogadishu, Somalia. That is an example of
how using such a list can be useful for identifying the plants.
