Good morning Hermine and Everyone,
I suspect that I am that New Zealander referred to on Jan 11th.
My name is Paul, I am sixty years old and live with three delightful
Shetland Sheepdogs.
My home is in the Nth. Island of N.Z. on the Coromandel Peninsula. I
have lived here for ten years and never experienced a frost, I
understand that it is zone 11.
My only vice ,well the most serious one is growing plants preferably
rare and subtropical species, I have been doing this extensively for
forty years.
I have always been extemely interested in Sansevierias but own very
few, I suspect that there is not a great number of species available in
this country , I was thrilled to find the list.
And now a list of the plants in my possession, it is embarrassingly
small but thats the way the cookie crumbles, and due to the want of a
reliable key my nomenclature is always open to correction.
S.trifasciata.
S. trifasciata c. Laurrentii.
S. Hanii .
S. Golden Hanii
S grandis.
S.cylindrica V.patula
S liberica
S metallica*
& S. sp.R894
* very much open to correction.
I hope that this will serve as an introduction and that I have not bored
you all to tears.Kind regard one and all.
                                Paul.
