I just come back from Argentina to find 260 e-mails waiting for me (3
weeks)!
What I meant regarding the rhizome, as Hermine indicated, is to sever it
where it meets the parent rhizome, mainly because a very short rhizome sets
the new plant back tremendously. If the rhizome is long enough, I agree
with Hermine to cut it half way. That way, there remains the possibility
that a new growth will come out of the half the stays with the parent
plant. However, the other half that goes with the new plant should be long
enough to warrant
a good growth.
I obtained Sansevieria trifaciata 'Jade Dwarf ' as a reversion of S.t.
'Jade Dwarf Marginated' that appeared first. All the plants come from this
propagation.
