A much belated coment on Alan Butler's message.
The difference between S. francisii (=FKH 432) and S. sp. 'Bally 12681' is
that the former grows in a stack of five rows like an Astroloba. One leaf
grows right above the other and the leaves keep growing and growing until
the entire plant flops. The leaves, therefore are almost all the same
length and they have a flat channel, unlike those ones of the latter that
have a more rounded channel.
Bally 30 is non existent and so is Bally 12686
Norma, I think that Hermine answer the question that I was supposed to
answer when I came back, though you may ask again, if you want.
Cheers
