Hey all,
The silence is deafening. I just can't handle it.
As the fourth of July hits this United States, I wonder if there has
ever been any Sansevieria fibers used in the making of the U.S. flag.
Well, I guess I have to ponder on something.
So, is Bally a member of the suffruticosa group or some other? All the
discussion has me mixed up.
3 flower spikes on my S. t. laurentii! Whoopee!!
Anybody know where I can get the elusive Sans. eilensis?
The story I tell my 4 year old daughter:
Once there was a beautful plant that lived far across the big lake in a
land far away. This plant started from a small seed and as it grew up,
its only wish was to see the world. As it got grew up it realzed that
it was rooted in the place where it was and probably was going
nowhere...so it changed its dream to wanting its seeds and pups to see
the world. One day a man came along named Frank. He saw the plant and
although he didn't find it too interesting, he decided that it deserved
to be seen by others. He took part of this plant and passed it on to
people he know and they thought it was truly beautiful. they n turn
passed it on to their friends and eventually people from all over the
world had this plant, And so the mother plant's dream came true that her
pups and seeds would see the world.
After I tell her this story I show her my two Sans. FKH 432's. she now
wants to grow Sansevierias and sees the beauty of these beauties. Make
my day!!!
Have a good one all, and enjoy basking in the aura of your Sans. for
they all are truly beautiful.
Tom
