I may be repeating myself here, I forgot if I sent this one.  I received from
the Huntington Gardens a very large fan shaped plant 5 ft high and about 6 ft
wide plant that I believe to be S. ehrenbergii. I have already sent a color
slide off to John Gamesby.  I haven't located the documentation that goes
with the plant yet but will do so when John Trager our curator comes back
from vacation.  This is a monster, toooo big to send through the mails, but I
believe if its a species then I would be able to cut at least 10 tips and 10
intermedial pieces to pass them around. Norma
