Hello to all,
I have a Sansevieria plant obtained from an exchange with the Genoa Botanic
Garden. The Curator said it is from original material collected by Lavranos
in Tananarive, Madagascar, and that it has no name yet.
I do not know if it is with no name because unidentified or because it's a
Sansevieria specie nova. It is similar to S. gracilis but leaves are thicker
than wide and oval in section, with some light longitudinal furrows, more
glaucous, tendentially distichous, slightly rough and arched like a sabre. It
is small (leaves are about 20 cm long) and with aerial runners like S.
gracilis. I have seen no flower at the moment.
I hope to receive an answer to know some news about it or if it has been
named meanwhile.
