Nothing. they are a nice medium green like a stringbean. But I wonder what
you got which was purple, as usually only the sheath is purple where the
leaf emerges. Schweinfurthii is one of my favorites of the cylindrical
ones, partly for the pleasure of saying the name.  Do you mean that when
you got them from Grigsby they were purple-stemmed?????
