Re: [SANS] Sansevieria hyacinthoides and S. sp. 'Mason Congo'

No problem Juan,

My attempt to include the original posting in the reply must have thrown
you off.

You comments are quite valid and effective.

I just hope we have not scared Kirk off. We so rarely have someone
speculate on taxonomy in the forum. It is unfortunate that we could not
reply sooner.

I still am interested in your data for Sanseviera 'Koko' from Kenya and the
the other undescribed species we recently discussed in the forum.

Dear Steve,

Sorry, in reading the message, I confused your statements with those of
Kirk.}

My previous message is still valid, though not directed to you.

Again, S. sp. 'Mason Congo' from the Congo (it was at the time the plant
was
collected and is again now) is not either a "cultivar" of S.
hyacinthoides.
It is a species with botanical standing.

Cheers,
Juan
