On-Line Sansevieria Website

Hi Diana and all you other Sans-freaks


I have been giving your idea of shining the list up some thoughts, and here
a some proposals regarding the contens of a Sansevieria-homepage:


1) A "members marketplace" for buying/selling/swapping plants/leaves or
whatever related to our hobby. Some places you just cannot buy more than a
few of the most common Sansevieria, and some members must from time to time
have surplus leaves/plants.


2) A Sansevieria-survey - or you could call it book - with pictures and
descriptions of the plants. There are so few books available to us, so this
could be a source for information and inspiration.


3) A member-list (other mailinglists have such one, and it would be nice to
be able to find other collectors nearby). Some places there are very few
collectors who are difficult to find.


4) Links to nurseries selling Sansevieria and other relevant homepages. Then
all of us don't need to surf the net to find these homepages.


I know it will take quite an effort to make this work, but if several
members could join forces it might be possible.


I don't know if it will be expensive to have such a Sansevieria Website -
perhaps we will have to "buy" a password to access it.


Diana, you asked for ideas, and these are what I have right now.


Anybody else with idea - suggestions - solutions - ANYTHING MORE ??

Lets do what we can to make this list exciting and encouraging to our hobby.

BTW - how many are on the list now ?
