Hi Hermine, when you come out from under, let me know, I still would like you
to spend a day at the Huntington. For those that are interested, I found
71-588 G&F
HBG #61168 given to the Huntington by John Trager. Charlie Glass must have
given it to John Trager, tomorrow, I will look it up in the card files to see
what else that may be listed on the card.
Alice Waidhofer called me last night, and I asked her to get out her
documentation on Sans. Horwoodii or Horwood. I will also check our card on
that plant as well.
John Trager worked for Frank Horwood many years ago. Alice has a good
memory, but a better set of records that she has kept all of these years. I
don't know anyone that goes back as far as she does having collected Sans.
that is still living.
Hermine, correct me please if I am wrong, I'm only a Johnny come lately into
this, I will also ask her when she first became interested in the species.
She is very modest and gracious. Norma Lewis
