Hi:

I've been thinking all morning.  Hermine:  how many members do we have on
this list serv now?

I wonder if it would be possible for us to begin a real sansevieria club
with a newsletter and everything?  Haven't looked into printing costs yet
but surely xeroxing copies wouldn't be too bad.  I'd like to make
membership dues inexpensive enough that we could build up a
membership--perhaps have on-line meetings since we are scattered around the
world.

I will offer to serve as the editor for the newsletter (aiming at just 4
pages right now).  We would need a treasurer to collect "dues" after
determining our costs.  I don't know what the legal ramifications might
be.  Maybe we could publish under the Endangered Species catalog copyright
for now?  Hermine could you add subscription information to your page if
this gets off the ground?

People, I don't know what all would be involved.  I am throwing this out as
an idea.  Feel free to jump in with suggestions or even volunteer your
services.  Does anyone work for the US post office so you could get us
detailed information on postage costs?
