It would appear that heat and light is the answer here and why my
plant is thriving. It is growing in a south facing window only inches
away from a radiator so gets maximum light and heat.
As Hermine says a few of the new plants have a tweedy margination.
Marina the 'Jade' you lost was a different plant I don't know it
myself but it is in Juan's book.
s 'Manolyn' if you do not believe it root a leaf cutting and
see what comes up.
I had lots of problems with this Sansevieria with the rust appearing
on the leaves. The problem here turned out to be watering overhead or
water splashed onto the leaves would cause the rust, since watering
only from bellow ie a tray or pot saucer I have had no problems at
all and now have quite a nice plant with about a doven leaves
unmarked. Again another one that likes heat and sun in winter, a
friend grows his in a hanging basket with very good results.
