Frances asked about this plant.
When Juan Chahinian visited us on one occasion he told us it was
Sansevieria hyacinthoides or possibly aff.hyacinthoides. We had another
plant which originated from Pfennig labelled S.senegambica, which he also
said was aff.hyacinthoides. It seems this plant is quite variable.

Incidentally I also have a slide I took at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
labelled S.hyacinthoides, but it is obviously S.aethiopica, so much
confusion all round.
