This list has been somewhat moribund for a while so I'll just ask this:
Here is something I have been wondering about for a while. It is obvious
that when I get a start of a new plant the first pup is very small and each
succeeding pup is a bit larger till adult size is reached. But what I
wonder is if I re-pot a growing plant will the next pup be smaller or
stunted if it has started growing before I re-pot or is the small pup size
solely a function of a plant being young (that is, being cut off from the
mother plant.) Now that I write this I think my question is does re-potting
stunt or even stop the growing of a new pup, or can I do it any time without
fear? Many of my plants are in active growth now and some look overcrowded
so I wonder whether to re-pot now or wait?
