Introduction & Advice on leaf propagation please!

Hi all

I'm Marie and I'm from the UK. I collect all sorts of plants, Adromischus,
Echeveria, Crassula, Gasteria, Haworthia, Aloe, amongst others, including
cacti, and Sansevierias. I have several Sansevieria - Sanseveria
cylindrica, S. t.hahnii 'Loop's Pride', S.t. hahnii gold, S. trifasciata, S.
t.'Futura Simplex', S.t. 'Grey Lady', S.t.'Moonshine', S.t. compacta 'Black
Gold', S. Twist,
S. kirkii v pulchra, S. sp. Uganda, S.t. 'Bantel's Sensation', S.t. 'Silver
Frost'
S.t.'Silver Hahnii Marginated'. I am no expert by any means and collect any
plant that I particularly like the look of. I recently acquired three
Sansevieria leaves in a swap, Sansevieria sp Uganda, S. thyrsiflora and S.
kirkii v pulchra. I have never rooted Sansevieria leaves before. I have
put them in a sandy compost which was damp initially, and the tray was then
placed on the bottom of a lidless heated propagator and I have placed this
in our conservatory, which is very light and airy. The compost is now
somewhat dry and the leaves look as though they are drying out. I don't
want to lose them, can anyone please give me some advice, am I doing it
right? How long will it take for the leaves to form roots? Any help/advice
gratefully received.

Thanks in advance

Marie
