I have grown nelsonii (the species), suffruticosa, Bally 12681,
metalica,liberica,horwoodii FKH 424 and dawei from my own seed.
It germinated in 22-36 days, I found the seedlings were very slow for
the first 3-5 years then they start to look like their parents. I
germinate them at 75-80 F using the Baggy method the compost is
coir no added grit or anything. I found they germinated better with
light and if kept in the dark they do not do so well. I only push the
seed into the compost not covering it.
