Regarding the subject I e-mailed Rainbow Gardens and Chuck replied that he
never said that limited number of copies were available in Europe.
He added:
"If this book were to be found ANYWHERE in the world, it would most likely
be
found in Europe since it was an English publication and wasn't available
long
before it went out of print".
The publication was both in English and German and the succint captions of
the photographs hardly amounts to 3 to 4 words (if that many) for each
plant besides its name..
I add to it that several years ago I was in Karlsruhe, Germany, right next
to the smaller town of Kempten where the book was published. I check with
antiquarians and even left a note with a friend to check with one of them
in order to trace it. No luck.
I also wrote to the press in Kempten with equal luck.
I do have the book but I think that obtaining additional copies will be
quite difficult.
