Hi,
As we were going on about sansevieria literature the other
day, I dug out an old house plant magazine that I bought
off the newstand back in the 1970s: Lady's Circle House Plants
& Indoor Gardening Guide, no. 1 [undated]. It includes a
5-page article on sansevierias by Douglas and Jane Santini,
who had quite a nice collection of plants. A number of
species and varieties are illustrated and described.
Here are the mailorder sources for plants: Mobile Garden,
New York City; Loyce's Flowers, Granbury TX; Sunnybrook
Farms, Chesterland OH--all presumably out of business, by
now.
It's interesting to look back in the old magazines, journals,
and catalogues.
