of Norma - first because she has a nice young man to send her plants,
secondly because she is able to receive plants and we can't because of our
strict import laws, and third because she works at the Huntington. However,
at the moment I have sunshine, health, flowers on the cacti bursting out
all over, and lots of lovely friends, so I suppose I am very well off.
Thank you those who sent me personal messages about my retirement. If
today's activities (digging a zuccini patch) are anything to go by, I will
be applying for my old job any day now!
