I'm still about , I hope the rest of you will pictch in a write a few
descriptions. I have what I believe to be a S. burmaica in bloom/
It's a about 15" stalk with clusters of 3-5 long, leaf about 1" across
with 5 grooves on the back side, and channeled on the front, the
tip is long about 1-2 " the young leaves show banding and are
lighter in color. It looks as it will only have 3 lvs. to a rosette. The
new rosette comes up from under, and are a litter green in color
so I can see the banding. The old leaves are darker and the banding
hardly visiable. The borders start out a very fine white line , about
the thickness of wire. I only quessed at this name from a description
in the 1915 monograph by Bown. I wish I knew for sure what this
plant is called. It was given to me by Juan C. Thank you Juan,
