Problems with Sansevierias online

Sans-severea? (without being extreme?)

Problems with pictures at
"http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/Vines/5800/index.html".

The pictures seem to take forever to download and the lower portion is
often blanked out.

I have made tentative identifications of the pictures. Feel free to correct
me if I'm wrong.

Pictures from Crasulady (Norma Lewis)
1A-C. Sansevieria hyacinthoides (S.guineensis) 'San Remo', also known as
'Smoked Sausage'
2. Sansevieria hyacinthoides
3. Sansevieria rorida

4. Sansevieria hyacinthoides (S.thyrsiflora) from Frans Noltee.

Only those growing the plants know what they are for sure. It would be
useful to include collectors numbers for the photos as well. It would be
nice to include, if known, the collector's numbers and locality info.

*******************************

Sansevieria guineensis (L.) Willdenow and S.thyrsiflora Thunberg are
synonyms of S.hyacinthoides (l.) Druce.

I have seen a plant with pale green leaves without maculation but with
faint lengthwise striations mislabled as S.hyacinthoides in Mary Chiles
collection. (She was not the one who named it.) It may actually be
S.conspicua N.E. Br. but it has not flowered yet.

Frans Noltee lists 'Mason Congo' as a cultivar of Sansevieria hyacinthoides
(his no.03299) in his catalog. I have not seen it in flower myself but I
bet he's right. It is sometimes labled as S.grandis J.D. Hooker and that
too is now considered synonymous with S.hyacinthoides.
