Lilian was THE BEST. I inever thought of her as old enough to die, you see.
i have had young friends die, but...i thought of Lilian as permanent
because I truly loved her. now if alice is 90, i must be about 55, and i
do not see how this is possible! when I met Alice about 20 years ago she
did not look anything like 70, and yes, i thought she was swell, only thing
wrong with her, really, is that she insisted on living too far away! convey
my absolute mightiest best greetings to her! in stockton which I have never
been able to locate...whenever i am near it, somebody in the car makes a
decision to NOT go there, no matter what i scream.
