Hi Gang, I thought I died and gone to heaven. Today I received a gift box from
an admirer, it pays to know a tall good looking young men.
The plants were absolutely beautiful, arriving in what looked to me a very
well wrapped gift box, saying, PRIORITY, what fun to share in our hobby,
surprises never cease.
I hope all of you have shared and reaped the rewards and pleasure one gets by
giving. You will make so many friends, grab the little kids when they are
very young,
and start them with a new plant.
I was in the Huntington conservatory on Friday, I have been there many times
before,
as I do volunteer about 3 days a week. All of a sudden, I noticed a plant
that I had
never seen before, oh my gosh, it was the plant that my mother had a leaf
pinned up,
on the kitchen curtain, growing plantlets from every notch in the leaf. It
brought back
instant memories. I must have been no more than 7 years old, my family must
have started me very young with succulents. I just didn't realize it. Now that
plant has been growing on that bench at the Huntington for the past 5 yrs. I
can't imagine why I didn't notice it before.
Kirk thank you very much.
