Hi Pete,
Nice to know I am not alone on here.
Yes I have the book by Hermine Stover and a few more on Sansevieria
but for the Sansevieria I find you have to search the Flora's so you
need to know where the plant originates in order to find the
descriptions. I have Browns monograoh on them but it is so out of
date now and the work by Paul Mgubua (not sure of the spelling here)
in Kenya seems like it is going to be a while yet.
I have a few plants labelled as nelsonii and the nearest thing to it
so far is PF115 and another that has much darker leaves otherwise it
fits the description. A beautiful plant that was on sale over here in
the UK as nelsonii turned out to be concinna well worth getting if
you can find it.
My kirkii v pulchera is almost flowering the flower tubes on top of a
15" flower spike are getting longer now about 4" long so they must be
about due to open any time now, first time the plant has flowered for
me.

No I think the problem is educating people that there are other
Sansevieria's than trifasciata. I think they are definitely getting
more popular in the UK as I am continually being asked for cuttings
and what nurseries sell them.
What Sansevierias do you have and which is your favourite?
