I think what you describe about your weather in Texas is what my San. would
just love
    I live in the San Fernando, Los Angeles, Area  Zone 21 We are semi-desert
and very dry (usually) except for the past 2 weeks.  My poor San. suffer, I
also
must bring them in during the winter, too cold.  Perhaps I should send on to
you for
the winter months.

The little darlings think that they are little princesses and deserve a velvet
pillow.
This next winter I will keep them  bone dry, fan going, and leave them
outside, as
I feel they should not get special privileges over the Crassula.
