Tom;
        I know of absolutely NO Sansevieria that exhibit viral variegation.
        Viral variegation in the plant world is extremely rare- an
exhaustive study at Cambridge University disclosed that only about 1%
(maximum) of all variegated plants were based on viral infection.
        Most viral infections are extremely detrimental or fatal to plant
growth and vigor. Most virused plants die.

        The vast majortiy of variegation in Sasevieria and ALL OTHER PLANTS
is due to genetic 'sports' of various types and are chimeras of various
types.

        I wish people would get over the totally untrue belief that
variegation is a products of virus or any other disease.

        Sorry for the soap box Jim W.
